Transform your M1060C headphones by removing the wooden cups, foam discs and felt pad, and mount the handmade open grills - unleash the capabilities of your M1060C.
 
Note: Do not remove the paper backing on the driver.
 
As shown in the frequency response plot [measured in REW using miniDSP UMIK-1], turning the M1060C into an open back headphone will further improve the performance.
 
DIY Kit: $50 USD
A kit consisting of two parts: back plate and front plate.
 
The back plate is pre-assembled with an aluminium mesh and wrapped with a compressed acoustic cloth. Simply decorate/paint/wrap/veneer the front plate and attach it to the back plate with glue (detailed instructions will be provided).

The grills are assembled, wrapped in leather and finished with a leather wax for protection.
 
Manufacturing lead time: 2-3 days
The manufacturing process consists of:
- Assembly of parts = 12hrs (includes glue drying time)
- Leather wrap and waxing = 12hrs (includes drying time)
- Quality check and testing = 24hrs
 
Custom Olive Ash Burr $125 USD

The grills are assembled, veneered, coated with orange oil, and finished with the relevant prints (customisable).
 
Manufacturing lead time: 3-5 days
The manufacturing process consists of:
- Preparation of veneers = 48hrs (flattened and oiled)
- Printing the veneers = 12hrs (includes drying time)
- Assembly of parts = 24hrs (includes glue drying time)
- Quality check and testing = 24hrs
